No sir, do a proper brake job, using the pads/shoes of today upgrade the rear wheel cylinders, get rid of the moronic rear wheel anti-lock junk and they have very good brakes.



And if that is not good enough then you can do an easy hydraboost conversion, or rear disk brake conversion, I just don't need to because I keep my rear drums adjusted regularly.
