Only thing I'd highly recommend, if your truck isn't equipped with one, is getting a brake controller before you bring the rig home. That was the only thing I added to my truck before its maiden voyage.
With a trailer that heavy I wouldn't just recommend it, I would advise that it's a legal requirement in all 50 states to have functioning trailer brakes which for a tt means a brake controller in the tow vehicle AND a charged battery in the tt.
