Broke oven gas line

On our last trip we went over some pretty rough roads. In the process the side screw fell out of our oven element, the element bounced around and the gas line into the pilot light broke. Has anyone had any luck repairing their line? It was attached by a flange and a nut holding it onto the pilot light. We try to DIY as the nearest repair shop is at least 3 hours away. Our TT is a 2003 Thor Wanderer and our over is a Magic Chef. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Flange and nut???

All LPG lines have to be flared connections or pipe thread, they are fairly easy to do.
  • It was quite the boom! when I tried to light it. Thank goodness no one was injured.
  • Hi I recently repaired the gas line going into the water heater. I purchased the gas line, cutting tool, new flange nuts, and flange tool. Hardest part was not destroying the gas line while bending, cutting, or flange creation. Went through 20ft of gas line before mastering all three skills. I had to go from underneath trailer junction and feed the line up. It's a diy task and no dealers will do anything due to liability concerns.
