no, it was done earlier this year-had to go in for something and like i'm used to doing, left the keys in the lock(which i won't anymore) and a good gust of wind slammed the door/key into the glass. as for the springs on the side-the screen is like that but the window is not. upon closer looking, the center brace looks like it comes out(2 screws in center) and removing the upper rubber seal you remove the upper glass, then slide the lower glass up and out. then off to the local paint/glass shop. he does good, fast work at a reasonable price(not the 1st piece of glass to be broken around here :) ) figured since the bottom corners are not square it would probably be a lot easier for him to take in the bottom frame than me measuring and trying to figure out the radius of the corners.
