I have one that uses a pin to secure it and it broke. I could not find a new one so I used JB weld to put it back together. Never had a problem with it for the last two years. I've had to fix several thing on our fulltime RV using JB weld would'nt travel without it.

When putting my RV toolbox together the first thing I put in it was JB fast quickweld and some epoxy. Good stuff and the JB quick sets up WAY faster than the standard stuff. I've used it to fix a crack in an engine block, master link on a MC chain, leaking fuel line on tractor, broken handle bars, etc...GOOD STUFF!
If I can't find a replacement the JB will fix it!
