Brown stuff in compartment in new trailer

Don’t know what it is. Brand new trailer and there’s some brown gunk. Looks like a spilled chocolate milkshake. It’s not poop because I haven’t pooped in it yet and it didn’t smell.

Any ideas? I will post photo tomorrow.
  • Can't tell you what it is, even if we see it.

I think you are on your own with this mystery.
  • Probably leftover nuclear waste. Just clean it up and throw it over the neighbors fence. Wear gloves.
  • yeah the guy helping me asked his bro for a towel but i didn't know why.

later i saw why. honestly i think they just spilled some sealant or something.
  • If it's brand new I would take it back to the dealer and let them deal with the mystery.
Did you do an inspection before you took possession of the unit?
  • The dealer will take one look at it say it's excess adhesive, and probably be right.
  • Yeah. Probably. I did do a review on wednesday and didn't see it. I picked it up today and all we did was hitch the trailer and I left. I noticed when I got to my parking spot.
  • Wet rag, see if it comes up.
    then a cleaner like 409.
then try denatured alcohol mixed 50/50 with water.
    then wd-40
    then paint thinner
    then acetone
  • I agree with SAR. Try to clean it up before the dealer has your new rig for 6 weeks.
