The high fuel price they charge can be two fold. If the station is far remote it pays a higher price for delivery. If it doesn't do high volume because of it's location it may charge a higher price so the owners can make a living. Trust me I have hauled fuel for over 30yrs & have seen a lot of mom & pop stations go under because they couldn't make enough money to make ends meet. They are providing a service in a remote area while still trying to pay their bills & put food on their table. Just sayin.
