You can run "What Ifs" all day long. the Facts are:
No. 1 - you don't know what is being replaced and what isn't being replaced.
No. 2 - you don't know what GM's recommended fix is.
No. 3 - your speculating that the pump won't last a year when in reality there is no evidence the pump is even damaged.
No. 4 - To say that the company is "Not Stepping Up", has "Zero Basis In Fact". You know nothing about what they are or are not agreeing to do.
No. 5 - The company has said they are willing to pay for repairs. What does GM say the needed repairs are? To expect more then the "recommended repair" (whatever that may be), is pissing into the wind while standing on your head. Good Luck With That.
