I am not sure why you assume the repair wouldn't include every conceivable replacement and repair. The insurance is paying and the dealer has no incentive to scrimp. A bigger concern would be the competency of the service dept. If they are competent, I would think they would have every incentive to replace and repair any possible failure point.
