I would bet dollars to donuts that if that HPFP fails next month or next year, the station or the fuel delivery company is NOT going to pay for repairs....they already paid for the repairs the dealer performed and the truck is now running fine again.

Your buddy should run the numbers on a trade vs potential $12k repair on his current truck.

You keep tossing out this "potential" HPFP failure. But you have never provided any connectivity of HPFP failure to gas contamination. Actually, you don't even know what the contamination ratio was. Was it 99% diesel and 1% gas? 95% - 5%? How much is to much? Fact is, if the HPFP failure does occur next year can you actually say it was caused by the contamination or was it just a "normal failure". Funny how your ready to lynch someone without their day in court.
