Who am I lynching? Google Bosch CP4 failures and read up on pump failures due to lubricity issues. You raise very valid questions and that is exactly my point. The dealer did not change (or even inspect) the HPFP, and we don't know the level of dilution in the fuel, nor do we know the tolerance for dilution by the pump itself. Too many unknowns IMO when a grenading CP4 generates $12,000 in repairs.
