I was going to edit my previous post but I will just do a new post.
We use to tow our 32’ 5er with a 2001 Ram 2500 CTD 5 speed and 3.55’s. It did the job could pull most hills at speed, worked getting moving from a stop. Engine was chipped and bigger injectors maybe 300 HP torque maybe 600#.
The 2016 has 385 HP and 900# torque and 3.73’s, in comparison Yes, I do need to check the mirrors to make sure the 5er is still back there. The 5er is a little fat at 13,000+.
