Just throwing this out for consideration... I would look at a Carolina Carport that was wide enough to cover your trailer on one side and your deck on the other side. That would give you a solid roof over your deck, as well as amazing protection for your trailer on a permanent site. Your trailer will last a LOT longer if it is protected all the time.
I paid about $2400 for an 18' wide, 10' tall leg, 31' long Carolina Carport. Now, my trailer is centered under that, so 10' legs were good enough for me. You would need 11-12' legs if you are parking directly close to the legs.
Just another option to consider. Cost wise it would be a little more, but you would get a LOT of gains by covering your trailer too.
