Building roof over permanent deck

Hey Everyone! I put my 30' TT on a permanent site last year and built a 32x8' deck with railings, gates and stairs. My awning has since bit the dust and would like to build a full roof over the deck. I have been searching forums and google for quite a while an not come up with much of anything.

Has anyone built one before that has plans or advice? Not sure to use corrugated roofing or shingles and how heavy duty the structure has to be for it. Doing so on a budget but also want it to last.

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Dan

That is quite a few assumptions being made there friend. A condescending response is definitely not needed. I am just looking for friendly advice from those who have done this project before.

Gosh, sure didn't mean it to sound that way. How about this: If I did understand loads and spans for the different types and sizes of wood, I would do it myself, unless the permit agency requires it to be designed by a qualified engineer. Better? :)
