Bumper not square

I am concerned about the bumper on my Shadow Cruiser 280QBS. One side sticks out about 1 inch further from the back of the camper.

How can I tell if the bumper was just cut wrong or if the frame is fine but the entire box is not square?

Is this a common problem? Anything else to be worried about?
  • I had the same problem, as noted in the thread pasted above.

Dealer took my camper back, minus some transportation costs. I wrote CruiserRV, their response was that it was cosmetic. I doubt it. Even IF its cosmetic, who lets this out of the factory? If they messed this up, makes you wonder.

Measure from the front to the frame. That will help answer some questions.
  • Sounds like an Shadow Cruiser has a serious assembly line problem. :B

Edit: here is the link to the other Shadow Cruiser with same problem, maybe contact the owner and ask how his was resolved.

Do a search just last week or so a forum member posted a picture of his that had one frame beam much further out than the other.

It's not just aesthetic either those are the frame beams. Which most everyone has determined are pre cut for assembly so the whole TT is cocked as opposed to one just being to short.

Take a picture and send it with the serial number to the manufacturer and then take it back to the dealership. And don't let them tell you they will cut it to match like they told our other forum member!!!!

    Good Luck
  • Only seen it one other time, and that was on here acouple weeks ago. Take it back. Something is not right.
