Depending on trim level it could have air ride or not. Personally I think your being pessimestic on your numbers. The Suburban could likely weigh 6500 pounds long before you add fuel, passangers or stuff for traveling. Hitch weight will be aroumd 12-15% of trailers scaled weight. Dont have that? Use 12% of the trailers GVWR.
Equalizer bars and sway control? You bet. Unless you opt for a hitch like the Hensley Arrow that offers built in sway control.
Intrigrated brake controller? Just done see that as that big of a deal to me. I like my Prodigy just fine.
