Two questions for the Ram fans:
1. If the worst happens, can I put an older junk yard, say 2010 and up, Cummins in the new trucks? No emissions testing where I live, and my first Cummins was in a 1971 Ford dump, I know that one would not fit.
2. What is the best forum for the Ram diesels?
Thanks for the help.
I have a 2015 Ram 2500 CTD that I bought brand new and now have 92k on it. I bought an extended warranty. It was a waste of money because the only repair that the truck has had in all of the time I've owned it has been a simple axle seal. The engine and transmission have been flawless. There's absolutely no way that I would consider puting an older engine in my truck. I also see no need to do a delete even when my truck is out of warranty. DEF is $7.88 a jug at Wal-Mart and, unless I'm towing, I only add a jug about ever 2-3 months.
