I bought our 2004.5 4 years ago with 62k and it now has 88k. It is a wonderful simple truck albeit noisy and I expect it will be the last truck I will need. If you buy it right you will find it to be an economical purchase decision as they refuse to depreciate much ($700 in 4 years). Like mentioned earlier, it won't have the capacity of the newer trucks. I was lucky and the truck I bought had never been a tow rig. However, the last 26k miles have been mostly tow duty for our 10k# 5er and I can't see how it has impacted the truck at all. 11.2 mpg towing average, 22 on the freeway and 17 around town. You will want an exhaust brake ($2k) and an exhaust temperature gauge. Good luck and act fast!
