You will not only pay NY Sales Tax but you will pay whatever the Tax rate is in the County in which you reside. That holds true even when buying in NY but a different County from where you reside. I bought my 5th Wheel in Erie County NY and I live in Chautauqua County. I paid my County's Sales Tax rate of 8% instead of the 8.75% rate where I purchased my camper.
