In Kentucky, if we buy an out of state NEW travel trailer, we have to have a Certificate of Origin and the dealer must fill out a form for Kentucky Sales Tax which is then paid at the time of initial registration. If it is a used unit, then we have to have a title, bill of sale and the RV must be inspected by the KY Manufactured Housing Department.
