Do your self a favor and do like I did after 45 of only owing Ford products, when going to a diesel HD PU I went with the Dodge/Cummins I have never looked back!
Bought used with 234,000 miles one owner in very nice shape.
We just turned 307,000 and still pulling our 12,360# GVWR 5er.
And be prepared to spend some major $$$$ fixing them up. And yes your the exception not the rule.

BTW... after owning GM's for years went with Ford and never looked back. Also Ford being an American brand and not some foreign owned/controlled company is a big bonus.
Also our family farm/ranch we own both Ford Super Duty's and Dodge ram diesels and the Fords just hold up better overall.
