This is true. There is no warranty on a vehicle that was destined for a different country. The exception is if the vehicle was imported back by the OEM. My truck was a Canada truck with the same cannot be registered in the U.S. and warranty is void etc. But I purchased it as a certified pre-owned from a Ford dealer with full warranty. And yes it did work because I did have some warranty work done. If you purchase the vehicle from a dealer in the U.S. it has already been imported back. But it is very likely it may not have a warranty. Don't assume anything.
