Besides the converter on-off behavior through the speakers, I would also do some maintenance on the AC system. Tighten and inspect all the connections on the lug bus in the distribution panel. Make sure the ground connection to vehicle frame is sound and secure. In fact, just remove those ground connections, clean, secure correctly, and cover with some goop/grease so they don't rust. Do the same for your 12V system and all the connections.
If the above doesn't cure the buzz, you can use a ferrite around the converter output wiring to try and eliminate inductive transfer. Replacing the circuit breaker may work. Isolating the speaker from the trailer skin or surrounding it with aluminum foil may work, also.
My guess is the switching power supply in the converter is emitting EMR and it is being picked up by the speaker's wires which act as an antenna. A converter replacement may be the ultimate solution..
