buzz noise
Anyone know why my exterior speakers buzz while hooked on shore power? Nothing is turned on.

okay, but it is a brand new trailer & converter
Yes, ain't that the thing!
I don't know if you've been on the Forum and read the troubles of new owners but the long and short of it is that the Mfgs sometimes put the cheapest possible equipment together and do it with not a lot of care. There are many stories of loose wires, untightened plumbing fittings, failing fasteners, peeling exterior panels. etc. Feel lucky that you only have a disconcerting buzz and not a flooded trailer.
About the RV converters: A majority of travel trailers are built with a WFCO converter (World Friendship Company). They have been making the cheapest, often substandard, converters for years. Search the Forum for references. Look at the nameplate on your distribution panel.
If I owned a new trailer and had a WFCO converter, I would immediately replace it with a Progressive Dynamics 46** series converter. They wire into and fit in the space below the circuit board and fuse panel (easy DIY job). The advantage is the PD units charge at correct voltages, don't cause buzz, and will save you numerous battery replacements and electrical problems in the future. You can sell the WFCO to someone else with a failed unit.
I would still suggest you do or have done the maintenance items mentioned in my previous post. All it takes is one loose neutral wire on the bus bar to cause a lot of problems. And please, do any of this with the shore power disconnected.
Also, for future reference, the "Tech Issues" section of the Forum is where many knowledgeable folks hang out. Electrical engineers, electricians, RV repair technicians, etc.
One last thing: I mess with audio a lot and have never tried this but it is easy to do---remove the offending speaker. On the (+) phase wire to the speaker, install a ring ferrite, wrapping the wire around the ring. Reinstall speaker. That may cure your buzz. It is a $.50 fix.
