Bypassing the converter

This is a common problem when you have the inverter feeding all the outlets in your rig. Flip the breaker or unplug your converter to cease converter operation while using your inverter to power all the outlets in your rig. You can also wire a dedicated circuit or two so that the inverter only feeds power to theses specific outlets. I have both a large whole house MSW inverter alomg with a smaller PSW inverter wired up in our entertainment center so we can run HDTV, Blu-ray DVD, HD satellite, Bose sound system, and various game systems. When we do run our whole house inverter, I wired a switch accessible from the interior of our rig that disables the converter. Happy Camping!!!
