Bypassing the converter
Hi all.... I am wondering if anyone can help me with something I have been experimenting with ? I have been setting up at our camp trailer its a 29' Heartland trailrunner, with solar panels and 6 volt...

This is very interesting. All my lights are 12v. If I plug my trailer into the inverter and turn off the converter, will my lights just draw power from the batteries? Have I got the understanding or am I lost?
One other thing, I have an AIMS 3500 MSW with 2 outlets. Each outlet puts out 1500 watts. Would plugging the shore power into only one of the outlets still deplete the batteries as fast as using all 3500. I guess I'm trying to ask: will I only draw the amount of watts that I am using (for the appliance) or am I drawing the full 1500 watts by just being plugged into the outlet?
