If your ride is "OK", don't mess with them. If your ride is bad, you might want to put them on. When I bought my camper back in 2004, I left the dealer & went out on the highway & the truck started bucking & jerking. I knew I had a problem. The dealer installed the struts & solved most of the problem. I now have an Arctic Fox & the ride wasn't real bad but it was not a good as I wanted it so I solved the problem with some suspension upgrades. There is more than one way to skin a cat, you have to figure out what way is best for you & your truck & camper setup.

I would be interested in hearing what other modifications would help address the (truck bed material, suspension, adjust tension in tiedowns etc.) cabover up and down bouncing? I have not installed the cabover struts yet. cheers Christl
