HI ckwjl: Can you confirm if there are different shapes to the brackets that fix to the hood hinges that the strut attaches to? I am not sure I have the right ones as they came from the first OP when the Lance 1181 was new in 2005. It also looks like on my 2015 GMC 3500 I would have to remove the corner plastic trim between the hood and hinge and corner of the windshield to mount the bracket on the hood hinge? Can anyone confirm this also? cheer christl
