Cabover struts?
When I took my camper out for the first time I felt like the camper was moving to much. A rocking motion more than anything. I had tightened the turnbuckles to where I felt they should be...hand tight...

Probably for a reasonable amount a person could locate a used set of struts etc allowing a person to quit wasting time with theoretical fixes.
It's a Megacab so my hood hinges are further forward than a regular crewcab, in relation to the cabover.
