Calculated tow capability... Disappointed
So, in my search for the TT that the wife and I want, I've been diligently trying to calculate GVWR, GAWR, Traier capacity etc.. etc...I've read quite a bit, and I thought I would be okay with my tow ...

Just checked the tires, and they are rated for only 2850 lbs at 35 PSI. So, obviously tires are going to be an issue as well.
I bought the truck used, and at the time, tow capacity was a concern, but I wasn't seriously in the hunt for a TT at the time. Now that I am, I wish I would have paid more attention to overall cargo capacity and passed on the Sierra.
It is what it is... Good thing is, I got a great deal on the truck buying from private party, so Im not upside down or anything. Got room to maneuver.
