California sr 87 -Traffic ticket!
Returning from Lake Tahoe to Seattle on California sr 87, a winding, mountain, two lane road in my truck camper pulling my boat I was ticket ed by CHP for lane violation! Officer observed that on this...

My thinking... A forum isn't a good place to decide legal matters. It might help if we had a GoPro camera attached to the OP's truck.... and the policemans body camera footage....
Some folks just see a conspiracy in everything that they incur... "The everybody is out to get me attitude".... and, by their actions and attitudes.... yes there are many are out to get them.... when we break the laws and rules the man will eventually get you.
I'd bet that 90% or more of the people on the TC Forum never get a ticket... because 90% of the people are intellegent enough to play by the rules.
When I look at speeding I try to think like those smart people... and I slow down.
Why? better fuel economy, less fatal accident risk, less risk of LEO citiations and ultimate loss of license, and far less expensive insurance rates. I'm sure I missed some good reasons... like I love my wife and feel that its my job to keep her safe and happy. Or I just don't want to look like an idiot.
Note: We have our own policeman/hall monitor here on the TC Forum... is Wayne always fair and impartial, is he always right? Of course he is, as long as he has the edit, delete button.
Most of the time I don't know why I stay when so many have left. I guess that I want to see what the 10% are doing.
This is fun but, it's Time for me to get back to work.... I'm trying to prove that an old guy can tear our and reinstall a totally new bathroom.... this proves my stupidoty.... educated stupidity st that. If you happen to be passing by stop in and help... please:h
