I was hoping my truck would squat some when hitching to level out the trailer. Pin weight at 1500 lbs and truck barely lowers. Payload on truck is 2100 lbs and with the trailer, wife, 108 lb dog and I we're near max. Truck doesn't seem to handle much different. I suspect I could add much more weight. I see a lot of 2500's I see pulling much bigger fivers, but I'm a numbers guy.
