So by no oil, I meant that none of the plugs were wet. I didnt realize that excess ash was burnt oil, thats why I'm asking for opinions.
Oil is Mobil 1 5W30 Hi Mileage, changed about 1k ago. Oil sample was sent to Blackstone the change before last and it can back with a clean bill of health in terms of contaminents and wear metals. In fact I was changing oil every 5k miles and Blackstone suggested going to 7k based on additives left in the oil.
Wires are Napa Belkin Edge, same wires I installed in 2013. I can say that the truck idles so smoothe now you can't even feel it running stopped at a light and it has a lot more power.
I think too many short trips as a daily driver may have taken their toll on the plugs. Oil consumotion has stayed the same as it was from Day #1 when i bought this truch new, and thats a quart every 3k miles.
