I sent the injectors out to be ultrasonically cleaned and flow-balanced in 2013 when I replaced all the fuel lines and brake lines, had new pintels and filter sleeves installed. Results were that the slowest injector was only 10% clogged and that was after 12 yrs and 140k miles.
Nice that the guy with the Airsteam is not worried about the price of gas, but when you get 7mpg towing and buy 30 gals at a time, $.05/gal savings gets you a free cup of coffee.
I'll dump some Techron in just in case.
Also, I should mention there is no PCV on the 8.1.
