A trailer on the light end 'should' be able to lock them up. Heavier often can not
lock them up
Sure 'self adjusters', but they don't always work well or at all
I manually adjust them all during any long trip over 100 miles
Trailer harnesses are notorious for being poorly designed and ditto materials. So
the power being delivered might be on the low side. Ditto the wiring on the TV
and all of the connections
Try pulling the safety line/switch while towing it in a parking lot. That 'should'
lock them up
#1 readjust the trailer brakes and assume you know HOW2
#2 check the trailer brake magnets for rust or frayed wiring
#3 check the wiring of the trailer, paying special attention to all the connections
#4 check the trailer to TV plug to make sure the connections are in good order
#5 check the wiring of the TV controller and all the way back to the connector
lock them up
