I have a Arctic Fox 990 and was unloading it, I have a F450 Ford so it sets high anyway. Unloading it in the storage area I had the camper up in the air fired the truck up and eased out from under it. I shut the truck off got out and to camper to lower it. Here comes a big gust of wind ,hits on the side and it went to the right. I was worried about the camper as I saw both jacks on the right side bending, bur what really worried me was the Alegro Bay 45 foot Motor home setting next to me that the camper was headed for. It stopped before it went completely over just bending the jacks. I was able to lower it real slow and it went down and leveled out. I had to replace both jacks on the right side before I could reload it. As long as I have this rig I don't ever plan on unloading it again. I have another vehicle to drive so I park the rig in storage wen not on the road. Good luck with tours.
For the same reason (nearly lost mine as well) I will not be buying another truck camper next time. Next rv will be a small motorhome. Be a less expensive than buying another pick up. Trouble is, I like a diesel engine.
