So here is the start of the FLT driving from Sacramento to Ak in their electric F150 Lighting. Just a few observations from me: #1. To put a "canopy" on a truck and calling it a camper is a joke...

I love my EV to the tune of 19k miles in 15 months. It is fun to drive almost like a hot hatch that could benefit from better tires. It is great for everything within 100 miles from home. And it is dirt cheap to drive. No brakes, oil changes, and about 3 cents per mile for "fuel" or energy. Beyond shortish day trips, I'll use another vehicle for a few reasons including time to refuel and comfort based on size/vehicle class. I do hope the power/charging infrastructure improves in the next few years to better utilize the benefits EVs bring to owners/drivers so that longer distances have comparable compromises to ICE.
