I was going to take it as-is and then make changes since if I do the 2-battery thing now (and I was not aware of the 6v GC batts) I have to pay them $350 to modify the frame just for two batteries and propane removal. I'd rather have two batts as two propanes so did not want to limit myself to what the dealer can do- and potentially a lot of welding of brackets by the dealer to where fitting two propanes could be a problem later maybe. Thanks for the info/education and the links.
I have a friend with a welder too, so that is easy enough. I really like the idea of the boxes too. I bet those fancy Forklift ones are expensive (prices were not listed).
Since I have to go to the dealership tomorrow and wire the Jeep (they include free wiring for one vehicle, even though I will not tow with the Jeep) since the 4Runner is already wired up for trailer brakes. I will talk to them then and see how much they will charge to install two 6v batts and two propane tanks. Will also look into the battery OFF switch. I think the main expense is the labor here.
