My Lab is high energy beyond belief. But, he has been Kennel Trained since he was a pup. When we are sleeping at night. Or, when I have to leave him in the TT I put him in the kennel. He loves it in there , lays down, and goes peacefully to sleep. It's like his home. I have a folding wire kennel and I put a rug on top of it. He feels protected this way. (At my house he sleeps under the kitchen table. )
When going down the road I have a dog seat belt to keep him belted in the back seat. I don't believe that this thing will help him in a crash but, it keeps him settled down and setting in the back seat , rather then him jumping around causing problems.
