BTW/After owning a Peterbilt for 4 years, here's the scoop.
We made enough money at the time we sold the truck to pay off, $26000.00 in fuel and maintenence bills, 15000 balance on flatbed trailer equipped with chains, straps, tarps, side kit and bows, tarp for it, but the Feds said we wrote the truck off and made too much money so they taxed us 26000 and that was more than we had made so, I made enough to eat and buy bluejeans for the 4 years at 18 hr days, 21 days away from home in all weather, 123 degrees in Yuma and -12 when the fuel lines froze in WY. I saw 420,000 miles of hiway through a windshield, wore out 10 sets of wiper blades in rain, fog, snow, mist, freezing mist, freezing rain and thundersnow.Fun? OH hell YA!!! (I have driven ovr 2.4 million miles in my life.) You'll get rich doing it.
