- YongkieExplorerMany thanks for the input. I am seriously looking for the 6.8
- JaxomExplorerThe front panel where the pass-thru window is located was somehow installed upside down. The window instead of being even with the back window of the truck was above the cab!!! Considering everything I had special ordered about it I wasn't too surprised. QC should have caught it but didn't. I changed the door, added cabinets and even notched the lower front of the tub to overlap my in-bed aux. fuel tank.
Luckily I only live about 220 miles from them.
While I feel bad for those that have had wood rot, I feel confident, smug perhaps, that I'll not ever have any issues like that. Even bad leaks would have nothing to damage other than bedding, clothes & food. - YongkieExplorerJerry,
Did the issues serious in nature? You are not that far away from Wakarusa I take it. Could you explain more on your resolved issues? Many thanks.
Yongkie - JaxomExplorerI don't have the 6.8, but I do have a CampLite.
While the interior is a bit spartan, it meets my needs. Other campers have more amenities. i.e. drawers & cabinets, bathroom sink, etc.
I knew going in what I was getting, an aluminum framed, no wood, light weight camper. I had a couple issues that required me to drop it off at the manufacturing facility. Their service was outstanding. I would get another one in a minute. - Carb_CleanerExplorerThe seat cushions are rather thin. That was my first impression when we checked one out. The exterior is stylish and appealing, but the interior was harsh. My $.02.
- YongkieExplorerTry Funtime RV in Tualatin, call ahead if they have 6.8? Or Apache Camping, these are what listed? In the livinlite.com
- JfreshExplorerYongkie,
Is there a camplite dealer near beaverton? I was originally thinking popup but now I am seriously considering hard lite weight. - YongkieExplorerMany thanks, Bumpyroad, I did look at that review, I guess it is a small one, I wonder if there are any owners who belong to this RV.net?
Many thanks, at least it is self contained
Yongkie - BumpyroadExplorerthere was a review at http://www.truckcampermagazine.com/camper-reviews/2012-camplite-review
