First off I do not knowingly camp where theft is an issue.
I do not leave anything out that I do not want stolen. Of course most of my gear came from the second hand store so if they steel the coffeemaker I am out $5.00 but would hate to lose my mixed set if Malmak dishes.
I would think motion detecting light set high enough to not be easily stolen would be a good idea. I carry a ladder to clean my slide.
leaving my TT unattended is the biggest risk because they are easy to access. Fortunately, I can store it at home.
