Campsite Squatters
Have any of you noticed people leaving their trailers in great campsites on BLM and USFS land during the week and then showing up on the weekends to camp?

I'm not surprised. Idaho is where we were when a 3 trailer group decided to camp right next to us and when they left they drained their black tank on the way out.
Don't let that group spoil you on Idaho. As an Idahoan, we seek dispersed sites away from others and definitely do not empty our tanks out there or leave trash. We always pick up trash from others if we find it. I'm sure there are bad in every state. We primarily boondock and camp in areas where we see others respecting our space. Once, we had a group come in and camp right next to us and run their generator all night too! Seems they felt THAT spot was theirs that they visited every year at that time. Well, dispersed camping unfortunately has no rules other than no longer than 14 days.
