I have the exact same box mounted on my 2003 Lance. The wires were installed, but not connected to anything inside the camper. I put in a speaker A/B switch box on the rear channel of my head unit. When used in conjunction with the head unit's fader, I can turn off all the interior speakers and just have the outside ones live. I picked up a speaker box at Walmart for something like $20 years ago. It travels nicely in the space next to the bed. I made myself a patch cable to easily hook it up.
My latest thing has been using a Raspberry Pi as a wireless access point, media server, and AirPlay server. With around 800GB of music on a 1TB external HD, all running off 12v, I can sit out in the sticks and DJ music off my iPad around the campfire. But that is a different story....
