First off I want to say thank you to this forum. I have been lurking around here since we decided to start looking at travel trailers and so many posts have answered my questions and raised questions...

A grand Cherokee will handle a 25 ft TT with no problem. And a V-8 model will have plenty of power. Payload you will have to watch but is still doable, people tow larger trailers with them all the time! Maybe even look at a Durango? They are just like the Grand Cherokee but a bit larger.
I also agree a crew cab will be a good choice, but if you don't want to drive around a Pick up everyday, the SUV is still a good choice. Shop carefully.
