First off I want to say thank you to this forum. I have been lurking around here since we decided to start looking at travel trailers and so many posts have answered my questions and raised questions...

You are truly doing great at thinking things through. What you and the family want is the main thing. Your vehicle should do fine with a 25 ft trailer, if it is V8. I prefer my F-150 V8. You lose no room for passengers and gain a lot of towing capacity, but that is preference. Go with what you want. The bunks for the children seem to be an advantage for you. Forest River makes a couple you can look at. If you like the retro look, something new but looks old, take a look at the Whitewater Retro 195, built by Riverside Mfg. in Lagrange, Ind. That would solve your dislike for the wet bath. However, the boys would have to sleep on the table bed, which looks like an old rounded diner booth. Look long and chose just what you want.
