All in all, it's going to be marginal and depending on payload and how you load the truck, it will probably do OK on interstate and towing on reasonably level terrain. If you are thinking of getting up in the mountains, I would rethink my plan. That's the same engine/gear combo I have in a work van, and that motor isn't a powerhouse. It's not going to be a fun tow, and you will probably get really tired of having to keep your foot in it to get up the hills.
