Good grief yes, you are fine.
Some people wouldn't pull a utility trailer with anything less than a 3500. They are whacko.
I would recommend sway control and weight distribution. The numbers may be OK without the weight distribution, but I guarantee it will handle and ride better with it. And IMHO very few RV trailers should be towed without sway control.
