I have a '03 Tahoe pulling a 25ft Outback 25RSS (in signature), fully loaded to head out is right around 6000 lbs, max trailer weight 7400 lbs for the 'hoe. I have no problem at all in the flats, but it does bog down a bit at 10000 feet. Since you're not going to 10000 feet, my guess is you should be fine!
