It’s funny how many guys think that’s got a stock radiator, stock suspension, etc.
Sure it’ll tow, some reasonable amount.
Obviously it’s a hot rod and built for hauling... donkeys...
I used to have a ‘76 Ford half-ton with a very built ‘68 428, NP435 truck 4-speed, 9” rear, the thing was an animal in its day. Holley double pumper was really like flushing a toilet.
I used to carry a 10-foot camper and tow a boat behind it.
My guess is that ‘81-‘87 Chevy probably has a Turbo 400 behind its big-block and if it’s got a loose converter that would be the one weak link for towing anything.
